Thai Pudpong is a true hidden gem in West Vancouver. The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with so much care—it feels like a little taste of Thailand right here at home. The papaya salad (som tum) is my favorite—fresh, tangy, and perfectly balanced. The stuffed chicken wings are another standout: crispy outside, savory filling inside, and so addictive. Everything else I’ve tried, from the curries to the noodles, has been consistently delicious. The staff here are also incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. One special thing I love about Thai Pudpong is their authentic Thai menu that they release from time to time. You’ll have to wait for the notice, but it’s worth it—you get to try traditional dishes you won’t usually find anywhere else in Vancouver. If you’re craving real Thai food in West Van, this cozy little spot is absolutely worth discovering.

I recently visited Thai Pudding, and while the food was fantastic, there’s definitely room for improvement in the overall ambiance. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the menu offered a wonderful selection of authentic Thai dishes. The star of the meal, however, was the Thai pudding—rich, smooth, and perfectly sweet. It was by far one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time! That said, the restaurant’s interior and décor are in need of some serious updating. The space feels a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh to match the quality of the food. Despite this, the delicious flavors and attentive service more than made up for the less-than-ideal atmosphere. If you’re looking for amazing Thai food, Thai Pudding is definitely worth a visit—just don’t expect the most modern setting. I’ll definitely be back for the food!

Ordered the Tom yum, pad Thai, and the daily special dish of Thai curry. Tom yum was insanely flavourful and tasted great. However the pad Thai was overly sweet and not salty enough (although that was fixed.) lastly, the daily curry was amazing, I forgot the name but it was yellow and contained chicken. It was perfectly sweet and creamy and I recommend to everyone.

Thai Pudpong is a gem in West Vancouver! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a family dinner or a casual meal with friends. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. I highly recommend the Pad Thai and the Red Curry – both dishes are bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The seafood options are also fantastic, especially the prawns and scallops. The spice levels can be adjusted to your preference, which is great for those who like it mild or extra spicy. The staff are attentive and frequently top up water glasses without being intrusive. It’s clear that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about providing a great dining experience. Overall, Thai Pudpong offers a wonderful combination of excellent food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to again and again!
